Pearce Grip Extension PG-2733 For Glock 26/27/33 Pinches Pinky Fingers

The Pearce grip extensions for subcompact Glocks (see our review) feels good in your hand and gives you a better grip on your gun, but it pinches your pinkie finger every time you shoot. Installation of the Pearce grip extension PG-2733 for Glocks leaves a gap between the magazine and gun grip. To make things worse, the Pearce extension has a very sharp edge on it's front right where your pinky finger rests against it. When you shoot, the jarring action of the recoil forces your pinky into the gap (and sharp edge) and "bites" or pinches your finger. IT HURTS. After firing a few rounds like this you've had enough. Fortunately, there is an easy fix to make it go away. You simply sand down the sharp edge and stick a small piece of soft Velcro to the front of the grip extension. It fills the gap without interfering with the operation of the magazine and feels good on your finger. NO MORE PINCHING each time you shoot.

The Pearce grip extensions for subcompact Glocks pinches your pinkie finger every time you shoot. Here is an easy fix for it.

Modified grip extension on the right. Modified grip extension on the right. The sharp ledge of the extension pinches your pinky finger.

That's the sharp edge and grooves that you have to sanded down. Buy some Velco. Black Velco will look better on your Glock. Remove the extension from the magazine. Sand or file down the grooves and sharp edge.

Smooth with sandpaper or emery board. Clean with alcohol wipe or solvent, then dry. It doesn't have to be perfect, just smooth enough for the Velcro to stick to it.

Cut a patch of Velcro. Use the soft, smooth part of the Velcro strip, not the scratchy half. Remove the backing and stick the Velcro to the extension as shown. The Velcro is very sticky. Press firmly into place.

You will probably have some overlap. Trim overlap with a razor. That's it. The fix is complete.

Reinstall the extension back onto the Glock magazine. Insert the modified grip extension into your Glock. (White Velco shown) Insert the modified grip extension into your Glock. (Black Velco shown)

NO MORE PINCHING!
