These eye protection glasses are a great buy for shooting at the indoor range. My observations concerning these shooting glasses are as follows.

  1. You Can Wear These With Ear Muffs - One of the best features of these shooting glasses is their slim and flexible wire frames that don't interfere with wearing ear muffs. Other glasses with thicker frames obstruct the proper fit and function of ear muffs. These don't.

  2. Great Lateral Eye Protection - The wrap around style of these shooting glasses provide excellent protection from ricochets and projectiles coming from the sides.

  3. Lightweight & Comfortable - You hardly know that you are wearing them.

  4. Wide, Unobstructed View Of Vision - The wire frames are thin and the lens are wide giving you a clear view of vision looking up, down and sideward.

  5. Close Fit To Face - These shooting glasses fit closely to your face. The upper part of the lens actually touch my eyebrows. That's fine for cool weather but I don't know how good that will be in hot weather (sweat).

  6. Polycarbonate Lens Provide Impact Resistance - As expected in safety glasses.

  7. Optical Clarity - Good, but not as good as I had hoped. I had ordered the shooting glasses with the clear lens because they were in stock. I think I will order the amber ones when they become available.

First Range Use Of These Glasses

What I read from the customer reviews was right. These glasses don't interfere in any way with my ear muffs. Usually when I would wear shooting glasses with thick plastic frames, the frames would keep my ear muffs from creating a proper seal with my ear which lessened my hearing protection. Guns shots became way too loud and the glasses became unusable. Shooting glasses with thin wire frames was the way to go.

The unobstructed field of vision and the close fit eye protection that these shooting glasses provide is a nice feature. There are little or no gaps for ricochets, dirt or particles to pass though. You feel like your eyes are well protected. I thought there was going to be a problem with the optical quality of the lens but that turned out to be no problem after a good cleaning of the lens with soapy water.
