Walther P22 Magazine Construction
Due to their simple design and construction, Walther P22 magazines are easy to disassemble and clean. Walther P22 Magazines have the following components - stainless steel case, plastic follower, spring, spring catch, slide catch and butt plate.

Cleaning the Magazine
To clean the magazine, disassemble it as above and clean all of the component parts. Use care not to stretch or deform the spring as doing so may result in feed problems.

What is a magazine?
A magazine is a device for storage and feeding of ammunition into a firearm. Magazines may be fixed or removable. A detachable magazine is often referred to as a clip.
Factory Replacement Magazines
Factory replacement magazines are available and are guaranteed for reliable fit and function. Steel construction and adherence to strict tolerances ensure years of service from these magazines with proper care by the end user. This magazine has a 10 22 LR (Long Rifle) rounds capacity and is made of stainless steel.
Extended Capacity Magazines
When purchased new, the Walther P22 pistol comes with two 10-round capacity magazines. Aftermarket magazines are available with increased capacity of 13 rounds.
