What Does Double Action Mean?
Double action is the
action type of a revolver where two
specific actions are conducted each time the trigger is pulled.
The chamber revolves and a new round of ammunition is positioned
for firing. Simultaneously, the
hammer is pulled back and
released causing the striking of the firing pin and the firing
of the weapon.
