What Does Double Action Mean? (Revolver)
Double action is the action type of a revolver where two specific actions are conducted each time the trigger is pulled. The chamber revolves and a new round of ammunition is positioned for firing. Simultaneously, the hammer is pulled back and released causing the striking of the firing pin and the firing of the weapon.
