Subject: Which Primer To Use For 30-30 Winchester

Been usins win. primers for many years. I need info for a 30-30 win 10in. using 130gr bullet an imr4227. Which primer should i use pistol or rifle. Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about rifle primers and I am not familiar with the 30-30 Winchester revolver.

I would hate to even guess which primer to use (but if I had to guess, I would guess rifle).

You might try contacting Winchester or some other manufacturer of primers and see if you can get the correct answer from them.

You also might want to de-prime and measure a spent 30-30 case primer and compare it's dimensions to your new rifle and pistol primers. It might give you a better idea on which to use. Sorry I could not help.
