FIRST AID KITS

Having a comprehensive first aid kit in your house and car is an important first step in preparing for rendering medical attention when needed. You can buy first aid kits online or in stores that are "fully stocked" or you may create your own. Having reviewed the contents of many first aid kits I found that most, if not all are incomplete in one way or another. I determined that if I wanted a truly comprehensive first aid kit I would have to make my own. I began the process by listing the contents of several first aid kits in a spreadsheet. By combining the contents of these kits, then sorting to eliminate duplications, I have compiled what I consider to be a very complete first aid kit.

I then went shopping. Those items that I could not find at the local pharmacy, I ordered online. The end result was a large duffel bag stuffed with all sorts of medicines and medical supplies that I feel will satisfy most medical first aid emergencies. I keep my comprehensive first aid kit in my car, so wherever I go I will be prepared. I also keep a fully stocked first aid kit in my house.
