Glock Barrel #2

Glock Barrel

What Is A Glock Barrel?

The Glock Barrel is the long metal tube that protrudes from the front of the gun. It contains and directs the pressurized gases that propel the fired bullet in a fixed direction. The barrel also contains the rifling (grooves on the inside of the barrel) which spin the bullet as it discharges from the gun.

Replacement Interval

The Glock Barrel should require no maintenance other than cleaning, lubrication and inspection after each shooting. The Glock Barrel should last the life of the gun and should never need to be replaced.
